welcome
0:07
to melting chocolate for croissants this
0:10
is what you do
0:11
if you don't have a double boiler and
0:13
don't want to use the microwave
0:15
i know the microwave is popular but it
0:17
doesn't do quite as good a job as
0:19
actually melting
0:21
now if you have a real double boiler you
0:23
would use that but if you don't
0:25
you can make one it's pretty easy what
0:27
you do is you get
0:28
the water in a small pot
0:32
and you get a bowl that fits inside the
0:36
pot
0:37
but doesn't actually touch the water so
0:40
we're going to melt this chocolate as
0:42
you can see it's melting just
0:44
a little bit already over here okay
0:47
and we're going to come back when it's
0:48
fully melted and i'll show you what to
0:50
do from there
0:52
back we're going to test and make sure
0:54
that this is the right
0:56
consistency if you're going to put
0:58
anything in the chocolate
1:00
like a fork or something to test it make
1:02
sure that
1:03
it is completely dry um if you get any
1:06
water
1:07
in the chocolate it will seize and
1:08
become unusable
1:10
so we're using a toothpick because that
1:13
is definitely
1:14
ah and look it's just perfect
1:18
now we're gonna smush it around like
1:20
that
1:22
take this out and
1:25
one moment we'll get the first candidate
1:27
just a moment
1:28
and now we're going to dip our first
1:30
candidate
1:32
just dip like that
1:36
take it out and dip the other end
1:42
there we go and put it on
1:47
parchment paper and get another one
1:51
dip oh
1:54
yam and pillow and dip
2:00
and they've got two dipped and we'll
2:01
continue dipping thanks for watching
2:04
be sure to subscribe and there you have
2:07
it
2:08
beautiful croissants with chocolate
2:10
drizzled over them and dipped in
2:11
chocolate
2:12
we also have
2:16
some lovely croissants
2:19

2:21

2:23

2:24
